- Assembly time (1 person) is about 90 mins. Less than 60 mins if you have an electric screwdriver with hex bit attachments. There are not a lot of different pieces used to put this together, so it's pretty straight-forward.
- No box springs necessary since the wood slats bow upward providing that needed "cush".
- It seems to very strong as main frame is very solid metal. Even wood slates are strong and fit very tightly on bed frame, unlike IKEA's bed slates which keep rambling all time.
- Instead of pounding the slat connectors down with a hammer or mallet, I simply used my body weight and stepped on them. Granted I am a 200 lb male. It's sturdy, solid, and passed various "noise" tests... Overall a great bed for the price.
As mentioned earlier this is a perfect bed frame if you have a portable mattress, or perhaps have an unused mattress stored somewhere about your home. It definitely makes a very comfortable guest or spare bed for visitors.
