Floor Shelf Wine Racks
Serious wine lovers will want to invest in more storage for their wine collections. We've looked at several wine racks that will look great in your kitchen or dining room or can be used to create a wine cellar in your basement or other room of your home.
Vinny Dark Espresso 24 Bottle Wine Rack
The Vinny Dark Espresso 24 Bottle Wine Rack http://amzn.to/18XYalZ is an exceptional piece for a dining area, the living room or even your kitchen. It's a rich dark color and looks super stylish when accented with decanter bottles on top or a centerpiece.
This unit measures 31.5W x 16.22D x 35.67H and will also hold stemware making it a truly functional piece for serving wine to your guests at dinner parties or just enjoying a nightly glass of wine.
It's constructed of solid wood, but will need to be assembled when you receive it. All hardware is included.
The majority of customers love this wine rack and most are complimenting on how great it looks in their kitchen. The biggest complaint about this product is that it can be a bit frustrating to put together, but overall they love the product once they get it all set up and say it's worth the trouble.
Winsome Wood 28-Bottle Wine Rack, Natural
If you prefer a lighter wood for your home decor needs, this Winsome Wood 28-Bottle Wine Rack http://amzn.to/1dbGEh3 comes in a natural finish and is a great piece to accent any room in your home where you'll be serving wine.
This charming wine shelf holds 28 bottles of wine and measures 18-1/2-inch wide by 10-inch deep by 37-inch high and is perfect for a small space. It does now hold any stemware, but the top is perfect for adding a centerpiece or to use for pouring glasses of wine.
It's constructed of solid beechwood and comes in a natural finish so it will blend in perfectly with lighter shades of wooden cabinets and kitchen accessories.
Customers are loving this wine rack and the compact design. Many even claim it is easy to assemble, looks great and several even purchased two or more after receiving the first one. If you live in a small space like an apartment, this is a great piece for storing plenty of wine.
The last two wine racks we looked at are best suited for a wine cellar or a wine storage area. They can be stained to fit the color of your kitchen, but these are basic shelves. If you like the rustic look in your home, however, these will make great additions to your living space.
Seville Classics FRN04714 40-Bottle Birchwood Wine Rack
This is a basic wine cellar rack http://amzn.to/1dbEduO which can be stacked or set side by side. It holds 40 bottles of wine and measures 10.4" D x 33" W x 18.75" H. It comes in natural, solid wood so you can finish it with stain, clear coat or paint it to suit your taste if you don't like the looks of natural wood. If it's going into a wine cellar or pantry the natural wood is fine for your needs.
Customers have been very pleased with this unit for building up their wine cellar with plenty of storage area. The biggest complaint about this product is that it only holds a standard bottle of wine. Larger bottles can be used, but you can't store as many and they do not fit well into the slots allotted.
Assembly has been relatively easy for most people and the shelf comes with level adjusting feet which is a big plus for many people. This helps make the shelf sturdy, especially on uneven flooring like some older basements have.
120 Bottle Rustic Wood Wine Rack
The last wine rack we looked at is the 120 Bottle Rustic Wood Wine Rack http://amzn.to/182cDwX. This rack is best suited for a cellar or basement type environment as it is not fancy at all. It's simply a basic shelf that allows you to double-stack bottles, hence getting 120 bottles on it. It is much taller than the previous shelf we discussed and you may want to anchor it to the wall in some way so it isn't top heavy. The product description claims it can be broken down into two shorter shelves with each unit holding 60 bottles.
For the price this is a great shelf to start your own wine cellar out with. It's affordable enough that as your build your wine collection you can order more units and really create a nice cellar.
Most customers are completely happy with this product. The biggest complaint we found is that the earthquake strap isn't all that great so you will want to find a better solution for securing it to the wall. Overall, this is a great buy, easy to assemble and will store your wine bottles at the right angle.
