Canning Funnels – using a funnel allows you to easily direct food into the jars without spillage. They are also perfect for using with sauces and gravies. The nice feature of this set is that the canner has a flat bottom and will work on ceramic stove tops. Making jam WITH Jam and Jelly Maker

Mash up fruit. Put in maker. Sprinkle pectin on top.
Turn on machine. Wait for four-minute beep. Add sugar.
Go watch Breaking Bad on DVR for 17 minutes.
Jam maker beeps, jam is done! Skim small amount of foam.
Process jam in jars.
Pan, lid and stirrer from jam maker clean up in about 5 minutes.

This really does sound like a wonderful machine that simplifies the jam making process. One thing to note is that you will need to use their recipe and method for your jam. One customer noted that her recipes didn’t work that well, until she adjusted them.
