The Diamondback Cobra 20 Boys Bike understands what boys are all about. There is an art to building a truly quality bicycle that anticipates the needs of a growing boy.
There is no doubt about it. Boys tend to be natural bike riders – for whatever reason. It may be that their powerful legs provide for enough speed to enable them to push the envelope. One thing is certain. Boys need bikes for more than just getting from home to school. They a rough ride and if a bike is not rugged enough to take some serious punishment – we cannot properly call it a “boys” bicycle.
The Diamondback Cobra 20 Boys Bike is a serious boys bicycle. They have anticipated off road trails, downhill runs at break neck speed, tearing across intersections, jumping ramps and all the other means that boys turn to when putting their bikes to the test.

The Diamondback Cobra 20 Boys Bike is a great bike. Customers rate it tops for easy assembly and when reading the specs on this darling – one can easily forget that we are talking about a child’s bike.
If this is your child’s first experience with a more mature bicycle, your lad might need a bit of time to adjust to the braking. He will need coaching until he develops sufficient hand strength to shift the gears easily, but all of this comes with a bit of time and practice. Before too long your boy will be out tearing up the dirt trails and having a blast with his friends.
What Earlier Customers Say...
The Diamondback Cobra 20 Boys Bike scores 4.1 stars out of five.
Given the quality of this bike – the score is no surprise, and most of the issues are peeves of the parents, more than that of the child.
Of course, the fact that there is no kickstand bothers some customers – especially for a heavy bike such as this.
The child will need a period of adjustment to move from foot brakes to handle bar lever brakes – but I don’t believe too many growing boys will complain about that – especially when they get a look at this beauty.
Twist shifters, which can sometimes be difficult to manage for a young boy who is just moving into this class of bike, so dad should be prepared to make some time for coaching. In addition, a seven-speed bike is darned fast – so you will want to go out with your boy a time or two to teach him the rules of the road.
The Diamondback Cobra 20 Boys Bike is perfect as a starter bike when your son comes to you and complains that he is ashamed to ride his current bike. His friends all have bikes that look like mom and dads – and he eventually will want one too.
For just under two hundred dollars, you can get him a rugged safe bike that won’t break the bank.
If you are looking for a bicycle that expects your boy to be a boy then the Diamondback Cobra 20 Boys Bike is a great choice.
