Customer COMPLAINTS about the “New Wave Enviro 10 Water Filter System”
Most of the customer complaints focus on the following…
- The unit does not remove fluoride. Not sure it is supposed to. Check with your water authority to determine if this chemical should be stripped from your water supply.
- Unit damage (our old friend).
- Water is NOT being filtered. A few customers say that they tested the water with a TDS tester and do not see that the water is cleaner. None of them claims to be an expert; so of course, this might not be the proper way to measure the water purity. Remember that the vast majority of customers do report cleaner tasting water.
- Taste does not improve – or even worsens with the filter in place. This is a rare complaint, which can arise from a number of causes that we will not delve into here. Just remember that you DO have the comfort of knowing that almost no earlier customers see this issue.
Therefore, although this is a great product at a great price, there have been a few negative reviews. Complaint number three is really a very serious complaint, so you might consider this one very carefully before you buy. You will need to convince yourself that these customers knew what they were doing when they measured the water purity.
We will only say that of 309 reviews, 265 are at three stars or better and 208 scored perfectly at five stars. If the unit were not working, then what about the 265 out of 309 earlier customers who says it does? These customers obviously DO see benefit, and customers who reviewed similar products rated them even less kindly. That is why we wanted to review a product with lots of customer appeal.
