The makers of the Diamondback Serene Sport Bike might just have hit upon something.
Let’s face it.  Few women can resist being attracted to a bike with the name “Serene.”  We all need a bit of serenity in our hectic lives – and certainly, nobody’s life is busier than that of the modern woman.
Bike riding offers a great way to unwind and stay in shape.  Obtain an excellent cardiovascular benefit for yourself, while greeting your friends and enjoying the natural beauty of some of your neighborhoods most scenic biking pathways.
diamond ladies bikeThe “Serene” Citi Classic Sport Bike represents the very best in modern bicycles for women.  Designed from the great looking aesthetics to the durable frame specifications, this bike is form fit to offer the best biking experience to the female athlete, with a strong focus on her comfort.
Here are some of the main features of this cutting age women’s bicycle.
Main Features of the Diamondback Serene Classic Sport Bike for Women
  • High-tensile steel comfort frame
  • Comfort suspension fork
  • Promax linear brakes
  • 7-speed light-action twist shifters
  • Double tunnel alloy rims with 26-inch tires
  • DB toe-clip-compatible platform pedals
  • Avenir comfort saddle and handle grips
This bike is pretty bare bones as a standard model; so of course, you will want to add special equipment, such as water bottle mounts, night headlamp, tire pump etc.  You will also need to add a kickstand, which will cost anywhere from five to thirty dollars – depending on how much you want to spend.
What Customers Say About the Diamondback Serene Classic Sport Bike
Of twenty-three customer reviews, only four were at or below three stars.  That is four out of five stars possible across just a few reviews, so nothing to worry about here.
The few complaints that did surface mostly focused on the fact that no assembly tools came in the box, but we can’t take these seriously, seeing as the box was clearly marked to point to this.
Unless you are difficult to please, you will probably be very happy with your purchase of this sport bike, as earlier customers were.  All we read is how easy it is to put together, and how happy they are with the quality.  There appears to be very little not to like here.
If you are a woman who needs a bike, you know it already, so the real question is how to be sure you are getting a good one.  The answer if course – is that you can never be sure.  Nevertheless, what we see here speaks very highly of this product – and we do feel that we are able to recommend it.
So saddle up – and go take on the day.
Happy Shopping!

How Often Should One Work Out?

How Often Should One Work Out?

Planning to start up a new fitness program?  Good for you!  A Decision to work out, get healthy and to become more active isn’t easy for most of us, but it is something you will be happy that you did.
However, if you are new to the vast world of health training, then things can become rather confusing, very quickly.  One of the more provocative questions that many people have is; how often they should work out?  The answer is simple.  Just start by asking yourself…
What You Want to Achieve?
Your health goals are the key driver of how often you need to work out.  In this article, we assume that you are a fitness novice.  In this case, you probably only want to feel healthier and to make sure you are getting enough exercise to maintain a quality, daily level of fitness.
Most experts recommend that a beginner like you work out for a minimum 20 minutes three times a week.  This gives your body plenty of time to rest up – and to develop just in case you put it through the same horror tomorrow.
You can break your 20 minutes sessions into smaller sessions as you are able, but just be sure to get in a full session.  As your overall health starts to improve, you will find that you are able to do your full work out session in one go – very easily in fact.
You might also want to build a plan that includes moderate fast walking or slow running, or even insert an incline or two into the plan as your grow stronger.  These will aid you to burn more calories in a shorter time, really pushing your health goals progress to the max.
Strength Training is Important!
Additional to your 3x20 minute cardio walking or slow running sessions per week, you might consider integrating strength training into your workout routine.  You can perform your strength training exercises on the days that you are resting from your cardio routines, giving yourself a complete workout regimen that won’t seem to daunting.
.......
.......
There are numerous benefits to strength training – not the least of which, it will help you to build up body muscle which raises your metabolism and makes it possible for you to burn more calories during your cardio exercise – or even when you are performing no exercise at all!
Remember: Less Can Be More…
Although you do need to work out habitually, do not think that you need to push yourself to the max every single day.  This is bad business, for you will really grow to hate your workouts if you really suffer when you indulge in them.  Since no sane person will torture himself for long – this is a great recipe for quitting you exercise program – and returning to your EZ Chair.
If you don’t feel like running a mile today, then just start running – and quit after 100 yards if you feel that you must.  You may be in condition to run 10 miles – you know you are – but there is no pressing reason to do it today.  Give yourself a break when you need to – and expand reach beyond your comfort zone gradually.
Another reason to work out less, instead of more, is that - if you are new to exercise, then your body isn’t going to be used to all of this physical activity, and it will need time to make repairs and adapt.  Yes, do go beyond your comfort zone, but again, do it gradually – and absolutely listen to your body should you experience pain, and always take a couple days rest each week.
That should get you started.  Build your plan, check it with your doctor if you suspect that there might be issues – and get started.  Starting is the hardest part.  After that, it’s all like running downhill.
Enjoy!

Lose Weight by Watching What You Drink!

Want To Lose Weight? Then Watch What You're Drinking!  Hell Boy

Everyone knows that losing weight means cutting down on your calorie intake and burning more calories through exercise. However, many people fail to consider the impact that their drinks have on their weight loss goals. Drinks contain calories just like food, but some drinks can even hinder your weight loss efforts in other ways! Here's a guide to the main drink categories you need to watch while losing weight.
Alcohol   lose weight
Many people are good at looking at their diet and knowing what they should and shouldn't eat, but don't take time to look at their alcohol consumption in the same way. Alcohol should be accounted for as part of your daily calorie allowance, so a couple for drinks a day will soon add up!
And they don't call it a "beer belly" for nothing: research has shown that alcohol can actually reduce the rate at which your body burns calories! It can also lead to some pretty unhealthy cravings, so it's important to be careful.
Coffee, Tea And Weight Loss
Some other drinks that many of us have every single day include coffee and tea. But are these helping or hindering your weight loss efforts? Studies have shown that any drinks containing caffeine can interfere with weight loss. The stimulation that occurs after you drink caffeine, whether from coffee, tea or even soda, really isn't good for cravings!
Many of us also even link the drinking of tea or coffee to eating a snack. In this case, even if the coffee itself isn't doing you any harm it's still encouraging your snacking habit, which isn't going to help you lose weight!
Many people drink green tea for weight loss. There's been a lot of hype over this drink in recent years, and studies have shown that green tea extract may help you to lose weight. However, drinking too much green tea means you'll still experience all the negative effects of caffeine listed above.
Juice     lose weight
Many people switch their unhealthy sodas for juice when trying to lose weight, on the assumption that this is "healthy". While it's true that fruit juice does come with more health benefits than sugary drinks, you still have to be careful about how much you're drinking. Make sure you choose juice without added sugar and include the calories within your daily allowance. Try not to have huge amounts in one go, as you'll want to keep your blood sugar levels stable.
 Water
When you're trying to lose weight, it's vital that you drink enough water. Not only will you need this to keep you hydrated while you're working out, you'll also want to use it as a way to make losing weight easier. There's no miracle cure for losing weight, but water comes pretty close.
Did you know that what you think is hunger is often thirst? Drinking more water as standard every day can reduce those cravings that force you to overeat. And drinking a couple of glasses of water before each meal can help fill you up to prevent overeating. This makes it a lot easier to reduce your portion sizes!
The truth is that water is always best. If you're used to drinking coffee, sugary drinks, alcohol and soda, then gradually replacing them with water will help your weight loss efforts, even if you do nothing else!
