The two digs against the pump complain that is insufficient for pumping 270 gallons of water.  However, the product page makes it clear that the kit comes with a 200 GPH pump.  Even some of the higher rated reviews mention that the pump might be larger – but these also make it clear that the pump provided more than gets the job done.  In any case, the pump size should not be a surprise.

The second complaint revolves around a set of plastic tubs, apparently shown in the picture, but that did not arrive in the package.  However, again, the product page makes it plain that no plastic tubs are in the box – so we should not expect them any more than we should expect to find in the package a bar of gold.

IF you buy this garden pond kit, it must be with the understanding that it will not convert your garden all by itself.  YOU have to become part of the process, deciding on what to install to complement the garden pond – a decision driven by what YOU feel represents beauty, peace, and tranquility.

The large cooking grate is another big win for this grill.  A bigger cooking surface means a shorter cooking time – and less time sweating over a searing hot grill.

• The wheels make it easy to roll the grill around
• The ash catcher on the gold model is like a pan and can hold a lot of ash and hot charcoal bits with no problem
• Now, I'm a firm believer of K.I.S.S.(keep it simple stupid), and Weber has always been IMO, true to this mantra.
• I cooked two cut-up chickens, and smoked a wonderful brisket so far, and WOW.  Just wow.

Who is the Weber One Touch Gold Kettle Grill For?

Buyers of this Weber One Touch Gold Kettle Grill are those who love the traditional method of grilling using charcoal (like me).  The added plus to this particular grill is that it incorporates updated features.  So now, you have the best of both worlds!

Customers have praised this grill for its easy assembly and sleek looks.  Customers highly recommend purchasing the charcoal companion as well.  A key issue reported with the “Silver” version of this grill was that the handles could get much too hot if left on the grill for too long.  This complaint seems to have disappeared altogether in the gold version – although the smart outdoor cook will wear a BBQ mitt when removing the lid off a live grill. 

Any Complaints?
