You really do need to do your homework to find the right type of portable bed. You don’t want to put your in-laws on just anything. You want a rollaway bed that is comfortable and still strong enough to support different people of swarthier weights.
Moreover, it must be easy to assemble, to move and to put away. The Milliard Portable Rollaway Bed certainly seems to live up to these expectations – but why listen to me – when you have testimony from the actual customers below…
- Arrived promptly, 90% assembled and was easy to install a few support brackets and wheels. Seems to be well made and sturdy. I like that is has wood slats instead of metal springs.
- It is an inch or two narrower than a twin bed but standard twin sheets fit just fine. I did put a padded mattress cover on it to ensure comfort.
- Very well made and sturdy. Took about 10 minutes to put them together and used them the same day.
- The frame, with wooden slats, is also much stronger than the other options.
- My sister, who has serious back issues slept on it for a week and she even loved it. I was also impressed to discover that the slats are made of wood--not metal springs.
